A few things to consider: |
||||||||||||
1. Research the Market: New to the Annapolis area? Not sure where to look? Nothing beats advice from trusted friends and colleagues who are familiar with our community. And a few hours spent touring the Annapolis area Condo and Townhouse communities will help narrow the focus on your ideal home. Take a look at our Communities page — it's a valuable source of information on the most desirable homes, including properties currently available, their price range, maps and directions. click image to view |

2. It's time to start working with a Realtor®. Get back to those friends and colleagues for a recommendation. You and your agent will be spending a lot of time together so be sure you're compatible. When we work with buyers we act solely on behalf of the buyer to represent the buyer's best interests. ("Exclusive Buyer's Agent" in real estate lingo.) Sales representatives for Condo and Townhouse Communities are hired by the owner/developer and are obliged to get the best deal for their employer. If you'd like us to start working for you, you can reach Bill by cell phone at 410-570-9111, voice-mail at 410-972-4037, or go to Contact Us. |

3. Get Pre-Approved by your Lender. There's a big difference between pre-qualifying for a loan and getting pre-approved for a loan. You've heard of dogs, cats and birds receiving credit cards? They can also get pre-qualified. You'll need to spend an hour or two with a reputable lender for pre-approval, but it's time well spent. When the process is complete you'll know for certain how much you can comfortably spend on your new home, and you'll be in an excellent position to negotiate with sellers. Resources: |

4. Find that new home! Once you've found a great Realtor© to work with and your loan has been pre-approved, you've completed the most difficult parts of the buying process. Now it's time to find that dream Condo or Townhouse, negotiate a purchase, and settle into your new home. We update the information on the Communities page at least twice a day — If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with us. We'd appreciate the opportunity to work with you.
